Best Hamburger in Eastwood City

Best Hamburgers in Eastwood City

There’s lots of choice here so I’ll write just a little about each. Quality of beef is usually one of the key points for burgers in the Philippines (i.e. - most stores have low quality beef).

  1. Stackers. Recently opened 24/7 Australian chain. Sit down restaurant specializing mostly in burgers with some chicken sandwich. Easily the best burger in Eastwood City. Great beef. Toppings fresh. Food comes out fast and hot too. Milkshakes are also rich and creamy. Buffalo chicken sandwich is also good and spicy. Still not as good as In n Out Burger in USA but pretty close. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

  1. Mc Donald’s. Same as USA except for a number of Filipino entrees that have been added. Prices are 110-135 peso for a combo meal, so it’s much cheaper than USA. 2 branches, one at Entrance of Eastwood and another on 4th floor of Eastwood Mall. 4th floor one has high end fixtures and very nice inside. Always good service. Their burgers on greasy side anywhere in world for me and also toppings are so so. 3 out of 5 stars.

  1. Jollibee. Most Filipinos prefer Jollibee over McDonalds. For me Jollibee must have soybean added to the meat. Overall quality is just not there. Also, everything seems to have extra sugar added to it. My kids like it though. 1 out of 5 stars.

Many other places offer burgers in Eastwood but I tend to avoid ordering that. In general burgers here have low quality meat and not enough meat. Also topping are often not fresh and buns not fresh either.

While I’m at rating burger I thought I’d review a couple places outside of Eastwood. TGIF, an American Chain, makes a really bad burger and charges you American prices for it. Don’t go! 2 out of 5 stars.

Wendy’s has several outlets in Manila. Wendy’s is one of the best in USA and has same quality as USA. Best burger in the Philippines so far that I’ve tried. 5 out of 5 stars.

Burger King is not quite the same here. Tried it several times and something are off compared to the USA version. Can’t put my finger on it. It’s not terrible, but still not as good. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I’ve heard that Brothers Burgers is quite good but never made it to one yet. It’s a local chain here in the Philippines.
